The main ingredient

of the 2024 edition

Do you know the

Guavaberry

?

The Guavaberry will be the main ingredient for the 2024 edition!

Combining sweet and tart notes, the guavaberry stands as an authentic symbol of Saint Martin's heritage. This berry is a key ingredient in crafting alcoholic beverages, including the famous guavaberry liqueur, which is predominantly enjoyed during the festive season in Saint Martin.

Additionally, it is employed to create a variety of dishes, desserts, and jams.

The guavaberry, with its red or purple hue when fully ripe, is modest in size, smaller than a cherry, and boasts a thin and delicate skin.

Tasting it provides an immersive experience into the island's gastronomic tradition, capturing the warm and welcoming spirit of Saint Martin.
